Recreation Department
The Recreation Department's commitment to excellence is quite evident by the wide range of activities available to JESPY clients. The quality of our clients' social and recreational lives continues
to be a priority of JESPY. The skills clients learn from interacting with each other, establishing relationships, and practicing good sportsmanship
as a result of participating in the athletic and social programs are critical to leading a happy and productive life.
JESPY offers a vast array of social and recreational activities that stimulate clients physically, mentally and spiritually.
Some activities include:
- Softball, basketball, bowling, track and field, hockey and soccer
- Talent shows, plays, arts and crafts, and ceramics
- Jewish holiday observances including Shabbat dinners, a model Seder, and a Chanukkah party
- JESPY Cafe ~ a meeting spot for clients to socialize, play games, listen to music or watch television at night
