After acceptance into the JESPY House Program, clients who need to learn the skills required to live independently with supported living services will enter the Residential Independent Living Program - a semi-structured, supervised apartment setting.
The Residence is staffed with case managers and daily living skills counselors and provides 24 hour on-site support. While living in this setting, the following areas of independent living are focused on:
The goal of the residential programming is for a client to learn the skills necessary to live independently in the community in his or her own apartment with or without a roommate. Once a client successfully learns the required skills, he or she will become part of the Outclient Services Department.
